What We’re Bringing Home from the Indiana Land Protection Alliance Annual Conference
Members of the Ouabache Land Conservancy board and leadership team recently represented the organization at the Annual Indiana Land Protection Alliance Conference and Winter Reception hosted in partnership with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources on February 23, 2026. We traveled to the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center in Indianapolis to connect with fellow conservation leaders from across the state.
Throughout the day, the group participated in educational sessions focused on land conservation, stewardship, and collaborative partnerships. The evening reception in Eli Lilly Hall offered an opportunity to celebrate Indiana’s conservation community and strengthen relationships that support the long-term protection of the landscapes and wildlife habitats OLC works to preserve.
We learned about a range of topics from ethically integrating AI into nonprofit work and meaningful corporate partnerships to creating conservation spaces that welcome, engage, and inspire.
