Bushnell’s North Star Woods

Now open to the public, Bushnell’s North Star Woods is a 124-acre woodland in the heart of the Lost Creek Settlement with beautiful slopes and views of Sulphur Creek. Early stewardship plans include completing trails we’re building through the property, invasive species management, and guided walks exploring the natural diversity and the site’s historical significance.

The property includes a shelter, which OLC envisions using for small group gatherings, outdoor classrooms, and community events. Adjacent to the shelter lies a large parking area with two accessible parking spaces.
