Where Water Leads, Conservation Follows

Ouabache Land Conservancy members Brendan Kearns, Jane Santucci, and Sara Peel, along with Andrea Huntington of the Indiana Land Protection Alliance, attended the two-day 2026 Indiana Water Summit.

Filled with education, conversation, and fresh ideas, the summit explored one of Indiana’s most essential resources and the many ways communities can work together to protect it. The gathering felt especially timely, arriving on the heels of significant flooding around Indianapolis and offering a powerful reminder that healthy land and healthy water are deeply connected.

OLC members were grateful to bring new knowledge and connections home to West Central Indiana.
